Villanueva de la Concepción

Each weekend Villanueva de la Concepción opens a new chapter in the 23rd Indoor Football League Championship. With a total of 14 teams participating, the indoor football league is one of the most outstanding championships in the province. Each weekend more than 150 players pass through the town’s covered pavilion. A good example of the championship’s importance is the great acceptance the league has not only in Villanueva de la Concepción but also throughout the entire province. In fact, of the 14 teams registered, nine are local teams, three from the Antequera region and two from Almogía.

The league plays every weekend in the town’s Sports Pavilion until June. Providing room for sports is truly important for all residents of Villanueva de la Concepción so that they have a healthy life and don’t succumb to the problems of current society by becoming couch potatoes or consuming drugs.

The 14 teams participating are the following:
Agrocabello-Joya, C.D. Jeva, Construnog F.S., Cerveza Mecánica-Cafetín, Transportes y Excavaciones Antonio Ruiz, C.D. La Higuera, Disco Pub Límite, Arroyo Coche F.S.,Atlético Coche, Agatha Video Bar F.S., Tiki-Taka, C.D. Cerro, C.F. Pastelero, U.D. Villanueva.
