Villanueva de la Concepción

Villanueva de la Concepción is located in the central area of Malaga Province, in the foothills of the Torcal massif. Because of this it is also known as Villa del Torcal.

Villanueva can be reached from Malaga, turning off the A-45 at Casabermeja, and taking the local highway that goes through Arroyo Coche, reaching the municipality about 10 km from Casabermeja.

From Antequera, take the 7075 to Villanueva de la Concepción, following the signs for El Torcal. About 25 km from Antequera.

Two other options are: to take highway 7075 from Malaga through Almogía, to access Villanueva de la Concepción. Alternatively leave the A-45 at marker Km 140.5 in order to follow the road that goes through Puerto del Barco.
